The knife makes a beautiful impression, lies nicely in the hand, and is sharp with the razor. The dispatch went from Statten quite quickly. I can only recommend it.

took about 1 month to receive. the knife looks beautiful. the Damascus pattern is real, NOT laser printed. the sharpness out of box was mediocre (barely able to cut tomato skin) but I easily sharpened it with a 1000 grit stone.

the knife came packaged in a elegant black box that is typical of all Japanese knives. it included a mini cleaning cloth. a saya with retaining pin was also included with the knife.
